Imagine being in a classroom where the white board comes to life!  This is exactly what happens in a classroom with a Promethean board.  The board is no longer static and used as a surface just to write.  The world outside the classroom can literally enter the room.  Students can now connect to a global community by simply interacting with the Promethean board. The Promethean board works in all the traditional ways you would expect from a "white" board, but it has unique qualities that "bring it to life".  The software (ActivStudio) contains tools that make this possible.
