Homework Expectations

In order to practice and reinforce skills that are taught in the classroom, your child will bring homework home on a regular basis.  Homework will always be due the next morning.  If homework is not returned the following day, students receive a check mark on their conduct card and will be asked to complete the homework sometime during the day.  Please make sure that the homework is done by the student.  You may give assistance, but please do not do it for them.  Students will also need crayons, scissors, and glue at home in order to complete their homework.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays students will bring home a paper/pencil type Math homework in their homework folder.  On Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays they will bring home a book bag containing a book and a recording form.  Students will need to read this book to you and fill in the recording form every night.  The book, the recording form and the bag need to be returned the following day.
