Homework Expectations

Homework is Monday through Thursday. Mondays and Wednesdays are reading and sometimes a response. Tuesdays and Thursdays are a Math worksheet. Every child below grade level has a tape recorder issued to them. The expectation is to read a different book on tape each night three times. (First-enjoyment, Second-follow along, Third-read along) The students that are really using the recorder are increasing their reading level 2-3 levels a month! This is a painless way to improve. My homework should be practice and the parent just needs to remind them to do it.
